2025 PWB Build Camp at CTEC

August 11, 2025 - August 14, 2025

Description

This year marks the 3rd year that the PWB Build Camp will take place - and each year the number of students that attend the camp continues to grow.  This year, there are almost 30 students attending (grades 7-10)- which allows our skilled volunteers to work with and teach up to -6- teams of camp attendees.  Students get to learn valuable hands-on skills while working with their teams to produce a great quality product that they can be proud of.  The sense of accomplishment and confidence that the students receive after attending this 4-day camp has been evident through thank you letters and feedback received after camp from previous years.  

If you have a few hours to spare, drop in and join Samantha and the volunteers while they build these quality chicken coops.  Come ready to work and learn alongside the kids and skilled professionals.  No skills required - but please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty or damaged.

Where:  CTEC High School (Career Technical Education Center).  Address:  3501 Portland Road Northeast - Salem, OR 97301
Times:  9:00 am - 3:00 pm in the construction shop at CTEC High School
